What's a Group?

Learn how to create an Influencer Group in ARchitect. But first, what is an Influencer Group? Simply put, Influencer Groups are a way to organize your influencers into lists. These lists, or groups as we call them, may be created based on a variety of different purposes. Some common ways are by:

  • Tiering: You can group all your most important or Tier 1 folks together, repeating this all the way down to your more informational gathering influencers or Tier 3 folks.

  • Vertical, a Product, or even by Department: Being able to target these lists of influencers that focus on a particular vertical or horizontal area, that follow particular products or impact specific departments can really help save you time and keep you organized.

  • Distribution or attendee/invitation list: This allows you to then quickly use the group to send out invitations, press releases, and other content within ARchitect.

A few common ways you can start to create an Influencer Group:

  1. Go to your Influencers | Influencer Groups | Add New menu at the top of your screen.

2. Click the Add New Button while viewing your Groups

Either way, you will always find yourself on the new create group page. Start to create your group by giving it a name (Green Light Demo). Next, fill in a description (Learn to create groups!) to remind yourself and your teammates the purpose of the group. And finally, let’s add some Influencers to the group.

How to Save to ARchitect: Assigning Influencers & Groups

To successfully save to ARchitect, you'll need to have at least one influencer assigned. You can add influencers individually or by selecting from an existing group - just use the two tabs on the left.

Adding Individual Influencers

  1. Click the Influencers tab.

  2. Select the blue Add Influencers button on the right.

  3. Choose one of two options:

    • Manually select influencers from the list.

    • Use Filter and Pick to refine your search.

Using Filter and Pick

This feature lets you filter through the database to find the right influencers based on various factors. You can also choose from an existing Influence Group:

  1. Click the Add Filters button.

  2. Select your filters from the dropdown menu.

  3. Pick your group and click Add Filters to apply.

  4. Use the checkboxes and arrow keys to move influencers from the left (available) column to the right (selected) column.

  5. Click Add Influencers when you're done.

Adding Sub-Groups

The Sub-groups tab allows you to associate existing groups into a list—like combining Tier 1, 2, and 3 groups into a Master Tier.

  1. Click the Sub-groups tab.

  2. Select the blue Add Sub-groups button.

  3. Choose your group(s) and click Add Group to confirm.

Final Step: Save Your Work!

Don't forget to hit the Save button in the upper right corner of your page—this ensures your updates are stored.
