Searching in Premium Content

Search is the default landing view in the new Premium Content, and the fastest way to find what you're looking for across everything in your database.

Running a basic search

Type a keyword or phrase into the search bar — a brand name, product, or topic. A few tips:

  • Putting a phrase in quotes requires those words to appear together, so quoting a multi-word term narrows your results to exact matches

  • Broad brand terms (e.g. a single common word) can pull in a lot of noise so unrelated results that happen to share the term. Narrower, more specific phrasing gets you more targeted results

Advanced Search

Click Advanced Search next to the search bar to build a more precise query. This is useful when you're tracking something more specific than a brand name alone—a particular product line, business unit, or set of executives, for example. Advanced Search supports include/exclude logic: you can require a term to appear (e.g. "must include Analyst Relations") while excluding unrelated noise (e.g. "must not include Augmented Reality" if an unrelated product launch is polluting your results).

Filters

Use the filter panel alongside your search to narrow results:

  • Source — Premium Content (sourced by ARInsights) and/or Uploaded Content (added by your team)

  • Content Types — Research, Quote, Blog, LinkedIn, and X/Twitter, all on by default

  • Last Published Date — defaults to a rolling last-30-days window

  • Firm, Influencer, and Influencer Group — narrow to specific analysts, firms, or groups you've set up

A practical tip from the team: if you're getting noisy results from fast-moving social content, try turning off Twitter/X and LinkedIn as sources — Research and Blog content tends to be more consistently relevant, especially for anything tied to a recent news cycle.

Sorting

Results sort by relevancy by default, so the content most closely matching your search term (e.g. appearing in the headline) surfaces above older or more tangential mentions.

Result cards

Each result card shows a Premium tag when the content is sourced by ARInsights; cards without that tag are Uploaded Content from your own team.

Click View Details on any card to open a side panel with more depth:

  • Topic Snapshot — themes pulled from the article, each with its own sentiment score on a 5-point scale

  • Key Insights — an AI-generated summary of the article

  • A link out to the original source

Views and actions

Switch between card, list, and table views of your results using the view toggle above the results. From the results page, you can select items and create a Collection or kick off a Report directly — no need to leave Search first.

Save a search

If you run the same search often, save it — saved searches show up as recent searches the next time you land on the Search page, so you're not rebuilding filters from scratch.

Searching Reviews

Reviews (Gartner, G2, and PeerSpot) live in their own search area, separate from the rest of Premium Content, since the data and workflow behind them are different.
